2010 NSSA EAST COAST CHAMPIONSHIPS BROUGHT TO YOU BY NIKE 6.0 SEBASTIAN INLET, FLORIDA APRIL 8-11 Conditions were changeling for 350 NSSA competitors. Clean waist high conditions to shoulder high wind chop is what was on tap. Luke was ripping all week, taking the Explorer Menehune title and a second place in the Open Boys final. This is a fine cap to Luke's NSSA East Coast campaign, which has him standing as the season points leader for Southeast Open Boys. The young South Florida surfer has been racking up accolades left and right on the East Coast this competitive season. Look for Luke to be making a big statement on a grander stage at NSSA National Championships in June. When Luke's not tearing into the a-frame peaks of Ponce Inlet, he makes time for school (a top-notch student), skateboarding his half-pipe and riding dirt bikes. Emily Ruppert, new to the FOX team this year, took 3rd in Explorer Girls and 4th in Explorer Womens. We're excited to have her representing FOX on the East Coast.
